The hypocrisy in youth activism and so called youth advocates for participation in politics
By Sule Sani Sule Some weeks back an association, organization or whatever you like to call it came to Kano and host an event at Bristol Palace. This association is aim at bringing youths together for a better tomorrow, this is the real picture they show to the world and that is the main reason why respected comrades and qualitative youths attended that event without knowing the real face of the association. I attended the event and I noted the below: * The venue of the event is a place for no ordinary person (Bristol Palace). For me if you are talking about Youth activism, you should invite us to Indoor Stadium, Sabon Gari stadium, a secondary school, may be Mumbayya House or places like that where we will drink pure water, sweat and face the reality. * It is strictly on invitation: When you are advocating for Youth activism you should be an open book, all youths are invited irrespective of religion, status, culture, political party or ethnicity.
