Mailantarki commends his players, as they emerges 3rd at Ramat Cup in Kano

Gombe State Icon of Sports Development Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki and Chairman Mailantarki Care Sports Academy has commended his players for finishing 3rd, in the recently concluded Ramat Cup held at Bristol Palace Hotel, in the ancient city of Kano.

The Gombe boys failed to reach the final of the tournament, after they were beaten 4-2 on penalty shootout by host Kano. But they thrashed Ogun state 2-0 to won the third place.



While presenting certificate to players at s dinner organized to celebrate the victory, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki sent his warm congratulations to management and players of the academy for their wonderful performance at the tournament.

The former Federal Lawmaker commended the coaching crew for exhibiting their professionalism, which inspired the players to demonstrate their talents and showcase their capacity of competing in any competition across Nigeria and beyond.

He urges the players and management to continue working hard with dedication and commitments, as they are working tirelessly towards uplifting the academy and injecting new ideas towards achieving missions of Mailantarki Care Sports Academy.

Sallah: NSCDC deploys 3005 operatives in Kano to ensure safety

  Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have deployed 3005 tactical operation squad to places of Sallah festivities in Kano. This was contained in a statement issued to Daily News 24 by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi. The statement noted that an emergency response unit team will also be available in Kano metropolis during the period, to ensure hitch free Sallah festivities as well as protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
