BREAKING: Zamfara Gov. nominates Senator Hassan as new Deputy Gov.

The Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle, has nominated Senator  Muhammad Hassan Nasiha as the new Deputy Governor of the state. 

At the resumed plenary, the Speaker of Zamfara House of Assembly, Nasiru Mu'azu, read a letter from the state Governor Bello Matawalle nominating Senator Muhammad Hassan as the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State.

Hassan was nominated hours after Mahdi Gusau’s impeachment on Wednesday.  

Senator Hassan is representing Zamfara Central Senatorial district.

All Progressive Congress National Leader, Bola Ahmad Tinubu had a closed-door meeting with Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau in Lagos, on Sunday. The meeting was at the instance of  the Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu as Ibrahim Shekarau strategically take control of APC machinery in Kano. Reports shows that Tinubu has been worried about the ongoing political crises in Kano State in which the All Progressive Congress (APC’s) leadership was snatched from the Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, due to alleged undemocratic dispositions on his part.
