Satellite Town Establishment: Madobi LG compensated affected land owners

Parts of preparations to establish satellite towns and industries clusters, Madobi local government had compensated farm owners whose lands were envisaged for the stated purposes at Maraya Burji and Kwankwaso towns. 
Speaking at the commencement of the payment exercise, the Chairman of the area Hon muhammad lawan yahaya represented by local government Vice Chairman, Alh Saidu Dan Wada said the project is aimed at creating modern cities to reduce the residential needs pressure on Kano metropolitan and create industrial clusters for more economic activities and self reliance among the rural dwellers. 
This was contained in a statement signed by the Information Officer of Madobi Local Government, Jamilu Mustapha Yakasai.
"Madobi LG is not far from Kano metropolitan and coming up with a project of this type is of great importance to our people " said the Vice Chairman. 
He added that"all stakeholders need to partake in this monumental stride for the overall transformation of our locality".
The emir of Karaye, Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II who spoke through San Turakin Karaye, Alh Sani Abubakar expressed delight with the exercise as it will serve as a catalyst of development and brings modernity to the people of the area. 
The emir used the opportunity to made a clarion call to the people of the affected communities to give all the needed support for the required success. 
 "Your unflinching support is very much critical as it make every step of the noble exercise a triumphant feat" stressed emir of Karaye. 
In his remarks, the District head of Madobi, Alh Saleh Musa Saleh doffed hat to the local administration for the foresight and thanked the emir of Karaye for throwing wheight to the exercise from its inception to date. 
The Director personnel management of Madobi local government, Alh Rabiu Abdullahi Daurawa said the local government will discretely follow all segments of the projects to ensure due adherence to its plan. 
The payment was made under the supervision of officials from Kano Urban Development and Planning Agency (KNUPDA) to ensure proper demarcation of the affected farms. 
One of the farm owners who received his compensation, Mal Muhammadu Sani showed his gladness  prayed for hitches free and a prosperous project.
