Abba Kabir Yusuf makes fresh appointments

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment of 6 Special Advisers and four Managing Director of for four governmental agencies.

This was contained in a statement issued by Hisham Habib, Spokesperson to the governor, on Tuesday, in Kano.

Reports says that the appointees are as follows:

1 Engineer Sulaiman Sani  SA. irrigation and dams

2 Abdullahi Shuaibu   SA Pension Fund Trustees

3 Yusuf Imam Shuaibu  SA Youth and Sports

4 Sadiya Abdu Bichi   SA  Women Children and Disabled

5 Dr Nura Jafar Shanono  SA  Water Resources

6 Sanusi  Sirajo  Kwankwaso SA political Affairs

His Excellency has also  approved the appointment of Managing Directors as follows:

1. Engineer Faisal Mahmud Kumbotso MD   KAROTA
 
2. Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu MD Housing Corporation
3. Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Danzago   MD REMASAB

4. Hon Hisham Habib MD Radio Kano

The appointments are with immediate effect.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Acting Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hisham Habib.

Tinubu holds crucial meeting with Shekarau, as the Senator’s faction takes control of APC machinery in Kano

All Progressive Congress National Leader, Bola Ahmad Tinubu had a closed-door meeting with Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau in Lagos, on Sunday. The meeting was at the instance of  the Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu as Ibrahim Shekarau strategically take control of APC machinery in Kano. Reports shows that Tinubu has been worried about the ongoing political crises in Kano State in which the All Progressive Congress (APC’s) leadership was snatched from the Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, due to alleged undemocratic dispositions on his part.
