Ganduje Renames KUST Wudil After Aliko Dangote

Kano State Executive Council has approved the renaming of Kano State University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil.

The State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje made this known through his Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba in a statement on Saturday, said the development followed recommendation by the University's visitation Panel.

He stated that, the institution is now to be called Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), Wudil.

Muhammad Garba further explained that the approval has been transmitted to the State House of Assembly to study the relevant laws establishing the University for amendment.

Sallah: NSCDC deploys 3005 operatives in Kano to ensure safety

  Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have deployed 3005 tactical operation squad to places of Sallah festivities in Kano. This was contained in a statement issued to Daily News 24 by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi.
