Shakarau’s staunch supporter to contest Nasarawa house of assembly seat in NNPP

One of the leading youths in Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s political camp, Sule Sani Sule is set to contest for the seat of Kano State House of Assembly member representing Nasarawa local government under the platform of New Nigeria Political Party NNPP.


Report says Sule Sani, a popular young politician and activist, is readying to contest after several calls and agitations, especially from the youth organizations within and outside Nasarawa local government. 



One of the Sule’s close ally who speaks on anonymity says,“ The move was started by some individuals and organizations, we are trying to convince him contest, considering his capacity, am sure he will bring positive change.”


As I am talking to you now, he is yet to accept or reject because he needs to meet with his political father and mentor Sardaunan Kano before deciding on the matter.”


This paper gathered that, after his defection from APC to NNPP, Malam Shekarau would get a chance to bring people that will contest for State and Federal house of assembly representing his constituency which is Nasarawa.

Sallah: NSCDC deploys 3005 operatives in Kano to ensure safety

  Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have deployed 3005 tactical operation squad to places of Sallah festivities in Kano. This was contained in a statement issued to Daily News 24 by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi. The statement noted that an emergency response unit team will also be available in Kano metropolis during the period, to ensure hitch free Sallah festivities as well as protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
