Eidil Fitr: NSCDC deploys over 3000 officers in Kano

Ahead of Eid-el Fitr and hitch-free Sallah festivities in Kano, the State commandant Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Idris Adamu Zakari has approved the deployment of 3,023 of its personnel across the state. 

The operatives drawn from various departments, units, divisions and area commands including under cover officers have been charged to ensure maximum security and respond to any security threat across nooks and crannies in the state throughout the festive period.

This was contained in a statement signed by the CDPRO of Kano Command, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, and sent to 'The Historica Nigeria'.

The statement added that, special attentions will be given to strategic places comprising Eid grounds, Malls/recreational centres and most importantly to all the critical national assets and infrastructure.

While the state Commandant wishes Muslim Ummah joyful sallah Celebrations, the good people of Kano are hereby enjoined to report any suspicious movements of miscreants criminals to the nearest security formation for prompt action.
