NBTE Inspect Agricultural Programmes, others at FCAPT

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), has paid a visit to the Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology (FCAPT), to inspect six Programmes of the College.

The Provost of the College, Dr. Muhammad Yusha'u Gwaram stated this in an interview with 'The Historica Nigeria' in Kano.

He said the resource inspection visit was meant to check the facilities on ground, which the institution has the manpower to handle the three (3) Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes and two (2) National Diploma (ND) Programmes.

Gwaram said the Programmes are HND Statistics, HND Agribusiness Management, and HND Animal Production.

Others are ND in Cooperative Economics and ND in Nutrition and Dietetics.

The Provost of the College Muhammad Yusha'u Gwaram added that FCAPT has the available land and facilities to effectively handle the stated programmes.

Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology with a Campus in Hotoro Kano, was established in 2008 to train middle-level manpower in agriculture, post-harvest technology and agricultural produce inspection.
