APC Youth Leader: Northwest drums support for Rinsola Abiola

Amalgamation of Youth Associations of All Progressive Party (APC), rallied in Kano to support Rinsola Abiola as candidate for APC National Youth Leader.

This is coming few weeks ahead of the APC national convention.

The Youths by their Zonal Coordinator Sabi'u Sulaiman Ibrahim said, it is time for people like her to be in the system of party affairs, looking at the contributions of her late father Chief MKO Abiola in the political development of this country.

Sulaiman Ibrahim added that, "We are APC card carrying members, we also have among us, political activists who believe in the promotion of women in governance and politics.


"She is running for the position because she believes she can deliver on anything that concern young people in the party system and structure. Our choice Rinsola is fully committed to youth and women inclusion in politics, this is because of her practice of creating spaces for women and young ones, and above all she's unarguably patriotic and detribalised like her late father Chief MKO Abiola of blessed memory," Zonal Coordinator reveals.

He added: “Our choice of Rinsola is to establish a central unit to support young candidates with many things from legal advice to campaign branding and materials.

"The amalgamation of youth groups and associations from northwestern states, are unequivocally in support of Rinsola Abiola in her contest for the position of national youth leader of All Progressive Congress (APC)." He concluded.

Umar Idris Shuaibu - Kano The Financial Services Regulation Coordinating Committee (FSRCC) has advised members of the public to refrain from dealing with illegal financial operators (IFOs). The committee said this in an advisory posted on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN’s) website on Monday.
