JUST IN: Court grants bail to Ganduje's critic

A fierce critic of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Former Commissioner of Works, Mu'azu Magaji, has been granted bail by a Magistrate court in the sum of 1 million Naira.

The court on Friday, also directed the defendant standing trial on a four count change of criminal defamation, international insults against Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to provide two surety, with one of them being the village head of Sarauniya, and the other must either be Hisbah Commander or the Chief Imam of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area.

Solacebase Online Newspaper reports that the presiding Magistrate, Aminu Gabari then adjourned the matter to March 2nd, 2022 for further mention.
