Insecurity: Gunmen abduct school principal, others

The Vice Principal of Buni Yadi Primary school, Babagana Kachalla, and four others were abducted by gunmen in Madiya village in Gujba Local Government Area of ​​Yobe State.
Yobe State Police Spokesperson, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the incident in Damaturu in a statement. 
Abdulkarim said the remaining people abducted by the gunmen included Abubakar Barma, Haruna Barma, Modu Bukar and Hajiya Gana. 
He said the incident took place around 8 am on Tuesday, according to a report by Mala Boyema at the local Police station around 10:37 am on Tuesday. 
The spokesman said Boyema was among those who survived the attack by gunmen in the area. 
According to him, the attackers later released Hajiya Gana, the only woman among the abductors.
