Hanifa’s killing: I didn’t dismembered her body as media claims -Abdulmalik Tanko

Abdulmalik Tanko, the Principal of Noble Kids School in 'Yan Kaba Kwanar Dakata' area of Kano state, who is accused of kidnapping and killing Hanifa Abubakar, has denied reports that her body was dismembered after she died before she was buried.

Abdulmalik told VOA while answering questions from her correspondent, shedding light on some of the issues surrounding Hanifa’s life after he abducted, killed and buried her.

He explained that Hanifa was put in a sack that was not very big even though it was wide enough to have her foot flexed.

In a video recorded by VOA, Abdulmalik said, “She was put in a sack, and because she was a little girl, the bag was too small for her, but her knees and ankles were slightly bent. Her body would go into the sack but no one carry a knife or anything and harm her body. ”

According to him, twisting her legs before putting her in a sack, made it look like her limbs had been broken, but in reality no one had amputated her or anything like that.
