Goodluck Jonathan’s brother kidnapped
The attackers abducted the cousin brother of Former President Jephthah Robert at his home in Yenagoa, the state capital of Bayelsa.
As of Press time, the family of Jephthah Robert, who had been abducted on Monday, had not been contacted by her captors.
Bayelsa State Police Spokesman SP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the abduction of Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin brother, but said the Force was trying to apprehend the kidnappers. 
No details have been released on the abduction of the former president’s brother, but Daily Trust has learned that there has been an increase in kidnappings for ransom in Bayelsa State currently.
The state Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Federal Otokito, was released by his captors on Monday after five days in captivity. 
He is alleged to have been kidnapped by a group of illegal oil refineries in his village for trying to stop their activities.
