Ganduje attributes victory at National Agricultural Show due to commitment and dedication

As Kano State emerged overall winner of the just concluded National Agricultural Show, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has attributed the victory due to commitment and support given by his administration to revamp the sector.
According to the Governor the feat of the success was also achieved with hard Work and dedication from the farmers across the 44 local government areas of the State and the agricultural extension workers.
Dr. Ganduje made the statement yesterday Friday during the closing ceremony of the 11th edition of the National Agricultural Show and Exhibition organized by the National Agricultural Foundation Of Nigeria held in Nassarawa State.
The Governor represented by his Deputy Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna went on to say that with collaboration between research institutions and private organizations we could harness the agricultural potentials of the country.
"Barely a week ago I was in France where i attended the leading European trade show for the livestock industry at Clermont-Ferrand and Rungi International Market which is said to be the largest food market in the world...what I saw there, I am confident with mutual cooperation and the pace we are moving we could achieve similar progress and consolidate on the gains of the success".
While assuring the continued support and cooperation of his administration to the agricultural sector, he commended the Federal Government under President Muhammad Buhari for its laudable policies and programmes aimed towards developing sector and extend his appreciation to the National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria led by Senator Abdullahi Adamu for organizing the event.
