We'll boost the economic situation of Dawanau International Market - Jerome
The France ambassador to Nigeria His Excellency Jorome Pasquier has pledged his country's support and cooperation towards improving the economic activities of Dawanau international Market.
His Excellency Jerome Pasquier state this when he visited Dawanau international market as part of his state tour to the Agricultural economic places in the state capital.
This was contained in a statement signed by Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources Malam Hafizu Lawal.
Mr. Jerome maintained that the assistant became imperatives so as to boost the economic situation of the market.
The France Ambassador also said his country will partner with the state Government to ensure the upliftment of Agricultural standard of the state.
Earlier the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agricultural and Natural resources, Alhaji Balarabe Hassan Karaye who represented the Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna stated the variety of Agricultural products being sold at the Market and urged the team to come into the problems facing the market with a view of addressing them.
Also speaking the Chairman of the Alh. Sani Gwa said the market remains the only largest grains market in Africa because of the sheer volume of business activities of the market.
He also said that traders from various parts of West African countries patronised the market on daily basis. 
The market Chairman then appealed for the assistant to addressed the issues of lack of social amenities like drainages, culverts, electricity , good roads among others.
Alh. Dani Gwa then thanked the France Ambassador for the visit and pledged their support to achieved good results.
