Karaye Emir appoints Fulani Leader as Sarkin Fulani of Karaye

Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II has reiterated resolve to support any initiative aimed at transforming his people. 

The Emir stated this receiving Chairman of Kano State Fulani Coalition Dr. Kamal Umar who was at the Emir's palace to thank the Emir over the traditional title of Sarkin Fulani of Karaye conferred him. 

Alhaji Dr. Abubakar II said,  the free eye check up intended to be carried out on five hundred of people of the Emirate is indeed welcome development worthy of commendation. 

Earlier, the Chairman Coalition of Fulani Associations and new Sarkin Fulani Karaye Dr. Kamal Umar who was speaking through Director General of Kano Bureau of Statistics said, they are at Karaye Emir's palace to praise him over the traditional title of Sarkin Fulani Karaye conferred on Dr. Kamal Umar describing it as greatest honour.

Dr. Kamal Umar announced that, in appreciation of the honour, free eyes check up would be conducted to five hundred people of Karaye Emirate while the other four Emirates would have three hundred people each. 
This was contained in a statement signed by the Information Officer of the Emirate Haruna Gunduwawa, and sent to The Historica Nigeria.

The committee said this in an advisory posted on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN’s) website on Monday.
