Ganduje's Policy on Education yielding profit - Dr. Dungurawa

The Rector Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa has discloses that Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s policy on education is rapidly yielding profit at both primary, secondary, tertiary institutions and State owned Universities. Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after observing an eid prayers in his hometown, where he stresses that Kano State education sector is witnessing real change due to profitable policies being usually applied which are being seen physically. 
Dr. Dungurawa states that ”in Kano state, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is making everything possible to ensure that all his provisions in the area of education are fully implemented like what is being enjoyed today, therefore I am certain that in the near future Kano’s education systems would become a subject of emulation“, he said. 
The Rector therefore assured that Kano State Government deserves respect and praise for maintaining the best status of education sector especially at present when the sector is still having various challenges in Nigeria due to what is happening as a result of COVID-19 pandemic which is a global global pandemic. Shedding light on Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Dungurawa announced that” we recorded tremendous achievements since my appointment as the Rector, and I am operating on Seven-point agenda which I believe is working successfully in running the affairs of the polytechnic, while an open door policy remained our channel to bringing excellent legacies at the place whenever we are not there” He lamented. 
Conclusively, Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa thanked both the teaching and non teaching staff of Kano State Polytechnic for their good supports and cooperation, while we put heads together in promoting academic pursuit and good learning atmosphere at all the institutions and solicited for more collective responsibility.

Umar Idris Shuaibu - Kano The National caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday, inaugurated party chairpersons for 34 states and the federal capital territory (FCT). Reports say that the party members had converged on the headquarters of the APC in Abuja for the inauguration amid heavy security. Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the caretaker/extraordinary convention planning committee (CECPC) — represented by John Akpanudoedehe, secretary of the committee — inaugurated the state chairpersons, excluding those of Kano and Sokoto. The development comes weeks before the party’s national convention scheduled for February 26. The party did not state exact reasons for excluding Sokoto and Kano. However, while there is an ongoing court case involving the APC in Kano, party crisis in Sokoto had resulted in parallel congresses.
