Umar Idris Shuaibu The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Kano State, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawauna, has urged supporters of all the political parties in the state to play politics without bitterness ahead of the forthcoming general elections. Dr. Gawuna made the call during his closing remarks at a two-hour debate organized for five governorship candidates in the state by the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) at the Aliko Dangote Business School, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), on Saturday. The other governorship candidates who participated in the debate were, Mohammed Sani Abacha of the PDP, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP, Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada of the ADP, and Salihu Tanko Yakasai of the PRP. The Deputy Governor of Kano state said there was no need for any rancor or bitterness in the course of the ongoing campaigns and during the forthcoming elections, as God had already chosen the person who would be the next Governor of Kano State. ...
